This is the closest thing/picture that was seen as the representation of the logo for the advanced textiles research group.
However I didn't think that this represented the advanced textiles research group in the correct way and people who were viewing this on a website wouldn't necessarily understand what the group was/about from that logo.
So here is my ideas for my new logos:
